As your store grows with a wider range of products, keeping everything organized is essential for a better user experience. Tags function as subcategories that help users quickly find related packages by clicking on a tag to see all relevant products.

Tags are also necessary for creating navlinks, which display categories directly on your store's navigation bar. We'll cover how to set up navlinks in a different section of this guide, but it's important to mention their connection here — tags are required to create them.

By using tags and navlinks together, you can improve the overall navigation and user experience of your store, making it easier for customers to find exactly what they're looking for.

To first get started visit the within your dashboard.

Creating a Tag

Simply click on the New Tag button in the top right. The following page will ask for the tag's Name, Slug, and Description.

Applying a Tag

Once you've created the tag, you can then apply it to products simply by editing the package and selecting the fitting tags on the right as shown below.

Custom Navlinks

We'll explain this in more detail on our Navlinks page, but in short, Navlinks can use Tags to easily add extra buttons to your store's navigation bar. These buttons help improve navigation and give your customers quick access to specific product categories.
